Fats Oils and Greases

Fats, oils and grease can damage the sewer system, causing sewer overflows and backups, creating health hazards, damaging homes interiors and threatening the environment.

HELP PREVENT SEWER OVERFLOWS AND BACKUPS

Never pour grease down sink drains or into toilets.
Scrape grease and food scraps into a can or the trash for disposal.
Put baskets/strainers in sink drains to catch food scraps and other solids, and empty them into the trash.
