Effective Oct. 1, 2022, the Building Department handles irrigation permits.
Inspections will not be scheduled if you have expired documents.

Effective May 2, 2022, window screens are required for final building inspections on houses.

Attention Contractors/ Homeowners:
Effective Immediately
In order to maintain and issue proper building permits, the Building Department is requesting the following information.
FLORIDA BUILDING CODE 7th EDITION:
[A] 107.2 Construction documents. Construction documents shall be in accordance with Sections 107.2.1 through 107.2.6.
[A] 107.2.1 Information on construction documents. Construction documents shall be dimensioned and drawn upon suitable material. Electronic media documents are permitted to be submitted where approved by the building official. Construction documents shall be of sufficient clarity to indicate the location, nature and extent of the work proposed and show in detail that it will conform to the provisions of this code and relevant laws, ordinances, rules and regulations, as determined by the building official
For Residential & Commercial permits submitted by a General Contractor, a Limited Authorization Letter for each trade shall be provided from each subcontractor that is attached to the main permit. For each trade not providing subcontractor Limited Authorization Letter, will be required to obtain a separate sub-permit for the job.

Notice of Commencements (NOC)
- NOC’s are no longer required at time of application but must be on the jobsite prior to the first inspection and must remain on site through the final Inspection.
